Well here we are, back from yet another fabulous weekender... One of the best in my tired eyes.

Friday night got off to flying start with Halo and the Martinez Brothers getting things in full flow, followed by DJ Spen who reminded us why he is on the bill time and time again! (It was all about his hop skip and jump for me!) I left the room just before his set was over but I'm told by the others that Karizma stepped in to go back to back with him for a while before Kiko Navarro took night number 1 to a close. Gutted I missed that!!!

There were lots of great chalet parties this time round, thanks to all those who stopped by ours.

Saturday/Sunday was more of the same which I am sure that the guys will give you heads up on as soon as they have caught up on a few winks.

Thanks again to all who put up with me and made my SP44 special.

Photos, videos and more feedback to follow!

    David

It was my first time to Southport and I have to say it was wicked!
Its is the best & longest party I have ever been to.

Highligfhts for me were Kerri Chandler & the Spen & Karizma back to back + Mark Stone on the Sunday.
Lows - damaging my ears. (hoping they will return to normal). Earplugs for me from now on.

Well i managed to see quite a few of the acts & dj's inc: + my comments on them.

ROY AYERS & BAH SAMBA - LIVE - brilliant proper music - 20 live musicians on stage
INCOGNITO - LIVE - brilliant -more proper music
    ANN NESBY - OK

    DJs
DJ Jazzy Jeff, - once you have heard one mix you've heard them all - bit of a Jive Bunny mega mix!
Kerri Chandler, - Best set + again he pushes the boundarys with videos of every singer!
DJ Spen & Karizma - Live production basically they are at the top of the House DJ tree!
Alix Alvirez, - Lovely Garage City Music
The Martinez Brothers, - My first experience. Cheeky little pair who will be around for some time to come
    Joey Negro, Funk set
Kiko Navarro, It was all a bit messy by then
Phlash & Friends, I wish i had seen more
Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson, I was good to see him on form!
The Fanatix (Neil Pierce & Aaron Ross), Played in main room but I would have enjoyed more in small room
Mark Stone - Love this guy - solid mixing and great tune selection
Ron Trent, F**ked my ears up! Very very loud.
