    Release Notes:

After planting the "Seeds of Life EP", his debut on RealDEEP Recordings, Apple Jazz returns once again to entice us with 4 more smoldering-hot tracks on "The Forbidden Fruit EP" [RDR010]. Tempting you to take your first bite is "Endless Hunger". Moody, rich organs and a stabbing, wobbly sub-bass drop this tune deep into Detroit beatdown territory with the addition of tribal, dubbed out percussion and shimmering synths. Luring you deeper into the EP is "A Deep Whole". This track drops in with a thick kick, jacking squared out synth stabs and rolling bass line. Dreamy strings ride over the top and lead the song into a warm, melodic breakdown like only Apple Jazz can devise. Exploring unconventional sounds and stimulating textures, while bringing the EP's energy up a notch, is "Midnight Prayer". Swinging, drums and bouncy bass lines are met by gritty and gated, yet intoxicatingly warm, synth lines, reminiscent of the Sonar Kollectiv sound. Loaded with builds-ups and breakdowns, this track is cinematic from beginning to end. Ending our journey through the garden and leaving you with sweet nectar running down your lips is "Jazz Party" a seductively jazzy journey into the house of Apple Jazz. Pensive chord progressions and masterful piano solos display the virtuosity that sets Apple Jazz at the head of the pack. Be prepared for another quality installment of RealDEEP house, because once you've tasted The Forbidden Fruit, there's no turning back!

    Coming Soon to:
