Profile: Brooklyn’s Best-Kept Secret, DJ RUBI R-Tres, is synonymous with her special delivery of Underground House Music. Not hesitating to blend various House styles, she enjoys the liberty of choice in music, working the tracks and telling her own story. Her unique selection varies from Deep House, Soulful, Hi-Tech Soul, Deep Techno, Deep Electronic, Deep Progressive, Acid, Broken-Beat, Dub, Lounge, Percussion, and rare House Classics. DJ Rubi R-Tres, established her name in the NYC House scene since 2003. She felt inspired by open-minded people who understood the unifying energy of dance and TRUE House Music. She grew up listening to DJ DISCIPLE back in the 90's in NYC on 91.5 FM. Thru DJ DISCIPLE, she became a fan of Larry Heard, Kerri Chandler, Glenn Underground, Ron Trent & Wayne Gardiner. Currently, she has taken an interest learning about other talented producers like Vince Watson, Vince Ragone, Derrick May, Carl Craig, Chymera, Rocco, & Nick Holder.
